OPEC+ may consider further oil production cuts — news portal

 

It is reported that it is possible that participants in the oil production limiting deal will consider further oil production cuts

in order to maintain current levels of prices

 

 

CAIRO, November 30. /TASS/.

 

OPEC+ member-states are likely to discuss further cuts in oil production at their meeting on December 4, the Iraq-based news portal Shafaq News said on

Wednesday, citing sources in OPEC.

 

Sources say that OPEC+ participants will not make any decisions regarding the level of oil production at their meeting on December 4,

following a meeting of the Saudi Arabian and Iraqi energy ministers late last week,

where the importance of maintaining the already agreed upon oil production level was stressed.

Nevertheless, it is possible that participants in the oil production limiting deal will consider further oil production cuts in order to maintain

current levels of prices.
